The number of participants is limited to 25. There will be special procedures for signing up for this course. These procedures will be announced.
A mix of ordinary lectures 3 hours a week in some weeks and more intensive work in other weeks. This course is based working on a computer under surveillance of staff member. Hence, the participants have to be physically present in the computer room when performing mandatory exercises.
All lectures are mandatory, exercises have to be completed and 3 hours individual written examination.
The course is aimed to make the students familiar with the use and organisation of an ERP system. Such systems have become very common tools for large firms and they are used to co-ordinate the activities of the firm, both internally between the different depeartments and externally between the firm and its suppliers and customers.
The course will use a specific ERP-system named SAP in an online fashion. In addition different ways of implementing an ERP-system will be discussed as well as costs of acquiring, implementing, and maintaining such systems.
