The course offers an introduction to fundamental concepts and methods useful when dealing with combinational problems. A number of courses in the computer science area are based on information from this course.
Numbers and number systems, binary and modular mathematics, logic and theory of sets, mathematical induction and deduction, permutations and combinations, graphs, trees, networks and algorithms, relational and Boolean algebra.
