Mandatory Assignments
1 mandatory assignment counts for 30 % of the final grade

Evaluation
Mandatory assignment counts 30 percent. 4 hour final examination counts 70 percent. The final grade is a calculated a weighted sum of the grades given, regardless of a pass / non pass in the individual grades given.

Learning outcome

The course presents topics of importance to management of international transport. An introduction to carriers liabilities of damage and loss of goods in seaborne transport is also given.

Content

The course covers the following topics: International flow of goods, sales and payment terms, documentation and insurance in international transport, international air freight and liability for damage and loss of goods in seaborne transport.
