The course is an elective course for master's students who have a quantitative background. By asking the lecturer also other students may be accepted.
4-hour written final examination. All printed and written material allowed during the exam.
To provide in-depth knowledge of methods and techniques for routing vehicles serving customers in variaous logistics settings.
The course covers the following subject areas:
- Arc routing
- Traveling salesman problem
- Vehicle routing
- Other concepts
For these topics, emphasis will be placed on modelling problems and solving them with heuristics.
