Equivalent to requirements for the master's programme.
The main purpose of the course is to give the students intermediate knowledge in supply chain management, with an emphasis on terminology and basic decision problems. Necessary topics from economic and organizational theory will also be covered.
This course will cover core subjects dealing with core of supply chain management and management of different logistics processes within the organization. The students will learn theoretical skills in operational management focused on decisions made by upper level managers in an organization. Main focus will be in solving organizational problems, e.g. organizational structure, coordination, conflict solving, and strategies.
